Pray, plan, give the book away, and then look for opportunities to answer questions or share your faith story. Text Box: Easter is coming! No, this isn’t a warning to make Spring Break plans or update your wardrobe! It’s a challenge to take advantage of a unique opportunity to share Jesus Christ with your neighbors and strengthen your faith all at the same time. This Sunday each person who attends our worship service will receive two books: Blessings of the Cross is a 40 day devotional written by Billy Graham, Max Lucado, Anne Graham Lotz, and others writers designed to prepare believers for Easter. The second book, God’s Blessing for You, is a book for your non-Christian friend or neighbor. It’s written in a way that introduces the true meaning of Text Box: Easter, gently sharing the Gospel in everyday terms. The purpose behind giving away these books is to both prepare Christian’s hearts for Easter, and hopefully, introduce their friends to Jesus Christ. In order to take full advantage of this resource, we encourage you to do two things; first, plan a time each day to read the devotional. The daily thought will only take a few minutes to read, but it will keep your focus on the wonder of the cross each day. Second, ask God to show you who you should give God’s Blessing for You to. Pray for eyes to see those who are searching, those who are hurting, those who are lost and confused in your circle of acquaintances. Then Text Box: AWANA Carnival Rolls Into Town March 2nd! Friday night, March 2nd from 6:00—9:00 p.m. will be a night filled with games and prizes, food and fun for kids who are little and kids who are big!
